Official portrait
ALICE CLOCKWELL
ALICE CLOCKWELL heads ZOLEX, the corporation that controls watchmaking throughout ZOZO CITY. Public clocks, schedules, and network synchronization: nothing works without his timekeeping. CLOCKWELL does more than tell time; he literally sets the city’s pulse and pace.
He created the Time Tax and imposed an idea that has become almost sacred: time is money. An unofficial adviser to President STRUMP JUNIOR, he is also WHITE BUNNY’s older brother, though the two no longer speak.
He gets along wonderfully with ELON NUTS, with whom he can debate battery charging times for hours. Despite his importance, ALICE remains the most absent-minded member of Le Cercle. No one really knows what he does with all his free time.
