BANKNOTE: 100 ZENS

01 · ZEPH ZEBRINI
1824 - 1898
Progress poured in concrete
Zeph Zebrini built ZOZO CITY with ribbons sometimes cut before the foundations. His plans stayed flexible, his budgets expandable, and inspectors strangely allergic to dust.
His competition was flawless: one call for bids, one company able to respond, and several well-placed cousins. Every overrun proved ambition; every crack opened onto the future.
Zeph wanted to leave a mark: avenues bear his name, buildings bear their own weight, and invoices will outlive the buildings. The 100 Zens note celebrates progress; the warranty remains under construction.
