BLACK GOLD holds ZOZO CITY’s vital resources. Electric Quantic and Aqua Core relentlessly exploit its underground deposits, winds, rivers, and coastline, making it one of the city’s most strategic, and most battered, zones.
The zone is governed by the Governor Mose Noze.
Overview
EVERYTHING HAS VALUEAS LONG ASTHERE IS SOME LEFT
In L’OR NOIR, nature is a resource. Electric Quantic draws energy from the ground and wind, while Aqua Core captures, treats, and distributes water from the rivers and coast.
Drills, mines, turbines, and pumps never stop. When one site runs dry, no one slows down: they simply look for the next place to dig, always in an officially ‘responsible’ manner.
The landscape pays the price for a city that’s better at consuming resources than renewing them. Mose Noze must balance residents’ interests against two Circle companies that control water and electricity, an excellent position from which to negotiate without negotiating.
